Is your business aligned with the wind of change?

One of the top speakers and marketers Jim Rohn said: “Is not the blowing of the wind that determines your life future….is the set of the sail”.
The global recession more than ever force us to change the setting of our sails if we want to remain alive in the business world. No matter if you are a small business owner, a sales man, or an entrepreneur you have to watch carefully from where the wind is coming and set your sail properly. This is the hardest thing for business owners to understand. All day long I am talking with entrepreneurs who are not willing to realize that a massive change is going on into the global market. They ask me why this is happening, why my adverts are not working, why customers are  not coming to my shop as they were coming before why this why that? And the conclusion is “This is not fair!!!! We offer the best product/service whatever but customers are not responding….Ok breath in…breath out….World is not fair…full stop. The market has its own mind….so we cannot explain it with our rational mind always…Here we have some facts which prove that the communication with the consumers has changed once and for all. The best advice I can give to anybody is involving with a business is to upgrade their communication skills into what the market is seeking now and how it’s responding. Yes that means some time and money investment. But the reward would be tremendous.

Today I am going to expose you to the next big booming trend which is going to change the communication with your customers once and for all. It has been predicted that online video advertising is about to become a bright spot in 2011 and grow massively at 2012. In the past couple of years, consumer rates of clicking on and watching video ads online grew rapidly. But to create a video message is also an art which has to be aligned with the rules of modern communication. Video email messages and video campaigns are going to squeeze more the television spending and this is something that comes back to what I was writing in my previous posts that in every aspect of businesses the middleman (as the media are) are going to fade out.
As the power of social media is increasing rapidly, social media platforms like facebook , are going to transformed to your personal tv channel where you can post your personal video’s from holidays, from your business, wishing to friends for their birthdays etc….or send a quick message to your wife and kids from the office…it’s endless…
Baby boomers generation is predicted to adopt this new way of communication (video messages) for instant and “live” contact with relatives and friends.
Marketers they have now to turn to the best performing video ad formats to connect with consumers. Small businesses are about to jump into online video in a major way. A new study from Ad-ology, entitled 2011 Small Business Marketing Forecast, found that 45% of small businesses are planning to increase their companies’ resources for online video in the coming year–that’s nearly double the number from last year’s similar survey.( Source Ad-ology Research)
