Let me confess something to you. I am not an expert or a “guru” in marketing or network marketing industry. I am an ordinary person who is in a learning procedure…which looks tough and pretty much is classing with the way I was conceiving things up to now. The reason I have survived in the business world is because I was always trying to learn and apply the “secrets” of the successful people. That was driving me to what I had achieved so far into my life. I am writing this article because I want to share with you what I have learned so far, and maybe help some of you to save time from your learning process. And because I am a human being and when I discover something exciting I want to share with others…..
When I saw the Secret one of the lines that stacked vividly into my mind was a Joe Vitale line which was: “The Universe likes speed…don’t delay…don’t second guess…don't doubt...when the impulse is there…when the opportunity is there….act!!!!”
If you are any like me…. need more…to understand…First of all why the Universe likes speed? How this is working? Why Universe doesn’t like speed when an oak tree is growing up? All these type of questions.
But I got the advice, never been able to apply it in my life….I was repeating to my self “the Universe likes speed…” but the little voice inside me was saying…”yea…but I don’t…”
Moving on with my learning process and doing a couple of Jack Canfield training courses (which I encourage you to do), I came across a training called… “Act fast” by James Malinchak. In case you don’t know the guy is one of the top business and motivational speakers around the Globe. His expertise is to teach his clients the value of taking action – quickly.
I thought that would be an interesting topic to watch it…as in the meantime I have learned also what is momentum in business and that momentum is created when you take massive action fast.
In that training Jack Canfield is mentioning this Joe Vitale’s line from the movie the Secret…answering my question about 2 years later why the Universe likes speed.
He says: “When an opportunity appears and you feel the impulse and the excitement about it…. there is all the supportive universal energy surrounding this event….so it’s like an energetic wave you have to catch up with…If you delay to take action the energy collapses and isn’t working for your benefit any more…You have missed it”.
Considering myself that was a missing part in my business life…I was not moving fast to the MMA (Money Making Activities)…I could spend all day long, to things were not important…checking emails, writing in articles….etc…
As I am a person of action this procrastination which was based upon the fear of rejection was creating an under surface guild and by the end of the day I was feeling exhausted and disappointed from myself…And that feeling was going on and on…It needs discipline to create a productive schedule and stick to it. And move fast….No Facebook checking every five minutes…no skype chatting with friends, no email checking every two minutes…etc.
In my business money making activities come from picking up the phone and make appointments with potential clients… and this is where I have to spend the most of my time. Ok I am not super on that…but I am working upon it.
