How to sell in a Tight Economy

It became very common business owners to complain about the lack of sales as the recession forced the consumers to change their spending habits. The following years we are going to face major changes regarding consumers attitude so business owners have to be prepared if they want to stay in the market.
Here are some tips which will help you to increase your sales in a down economy.
1. Reconnect with your customers. If you have a customers data base it would be smart if you go through it and prepare a special offer to reconnect with consumers that haven’t show up for some time
2. Step up. Use Social Media to create awareness regarding your products or services.
3. Give more value. In a down economy consumers have to get convinced that every penny they spend it’s worth it. So create extra value to attract more customers.
4. Be where your competitors are not.
5. Pick up the phone. It has to be a part of your everyday routine…at least ten phone calls per day…Either reconnecting with previous customers or calling new potential customers.
