The 1 Million Dollar question!

In my marketing consultation I always listen to business owners who usually are full of concern as they see the figures go down.
There is a misconception I would like to make clear in this short article in order to help you to reframe your thoughts and strategies regarding your business.
For example yesterday I saw a company which does vacation rentals…They have launched a fantastic concept which gives the opportunity to holiday makers not only to enjoy their vacation but also to detox, relax, loose weight etc through various programs. What a great idea!
As the interest is poor the owner was looking at me puzzled why the audience doesn’t respond. The main issue I found through my experience is that business owners spend a lot of money on adverts and promotions not targeting the right target market. The reason is because they address questions like: “Who likes to travel?” or “who likes a Mercedes?” etc.
The real question you have to do before you launch a campaign is “Who BUYS travel” or “Who BUYS a Mercedes in this financial environment”.
By replacing the word "like" with the word "buy" you will get a brand new picture about where your business is going, what is the right target market for you to approach and how you will launch an effective campaign to meet your potential customers.
I am confident when you start running your marketing promotions upon the buyers not the liker’s, your revenue will raise up drastically.
