Social Media Marketing Strategies are the new big trend. A recent Harvard research showed that the information you post in your social media pages are travelling up to the 3rd level deep, influencing thousands of people at your ignorance. And in that level is where the real marketing starts regarding promoting and selling product or services. Consumers changed their spending and buying habits and the word of mouth is dominating the market as the ultimate marketing strategy. The problem arises is that in this new world many inexperienced small size business owners had jumped in and they trying to achieve direct sales of their products using social media with limited results.
Large companies have started align their marketing strategies, to communicate direct with the consumers through social media. This year will be the time when marketers will upgrade their strategies and they are going to move beyond Facebook and LinkedIn in order to influence a vast larger group of consumers and transmit their message to them.Group buying seems to become the new giant in the market. The idea is ridiculous simple. You can share your experiences and do recommendations to friends and your social network through your mobile. Sites like Groupon will grow dramatically stealing a lot of Facebook fame. Q&A sites are also going to play crucial role in consumer’s behaviour. This maybe will be an aha moment for many small business owners as the social media marketing strategy has developed to an absolute new level of approach.
Conquer your market though Value
That word was missing from the majority of the Social Media marketing efforts. As consumers are bombarded from information, they immediately shut down to every attempt of selling.
Brands and businesses are now started to realize that one of the main ways of engaging their potential customers is by offering value and to create content that enriches the user’s social media experience rather than just blasting messages out at them. With users starting to get more and more aware of ads and adding their own filters the smart brands will create bespoke content that engages users in a meaningful way and offers value. Building that content in to Facebook and other social sites while all hooking back to their own website will be crucial while the video messages will play a more and more important role in the branded content.
